It's 2.39am now on the day, 31st December 2008. It marks the last day of the year as I take a moment and ponder back, what did I done well and what did I not do well.
There are things I managed to achieve well and I'm proud of another great year. There are still things I haven't managed to achieve and I really hope 2009 is the year that would be a big year for me. The year I must finally grow as I move towards the 25 years old. I know my route will not be easy and I know I will have to fight myself towards it. Thanks to Dwayne, a friend I know recently for the palm reading predictions. I know how I can change my life, hopefully my lines will change for the better. :)
Tonight I'm watching the fireworks again.. it would be good I hope..
Till then.. Bye 2008, thank you for whatever happen and Welcome 2009, hope everything would be better..
signout for the last time in year 2008..

When Nov just went.. and 20 days to the end of 2008...
Time passes like crazy. I realised I didn't had time to update my dear blog. So, what have I done? I was busy getting my documents ready for PR application the first half of the month and currently on Bridging Visa.. and here I am out of studies.. but because of the financial & economic crisis, I am jobless and unemployed.. as I am desperate for one.
Well, since the times are bad and I'm just totally unlucky to be in this situation, I had to continue my life. Instead of wasting it, after much consideration and talks with dad, I am studying yet again. This time is another diploma course but totally out of the business field.. I'm venturing into my initial passion for design, INTERIOR DESIGN.
In case some of you do not know, I was very much interested in Interior Design as I know how many years and how tough it is if I were to choose Architecture. So, 2nd option from design line, Interior Design which is closer to what dad's business is and pretty much, I love decorating houses. And so, some of you may ask why did Jenny Tan ended up getting a Business Degree instead? And of all thing, ACCOUNTING??? Haha :P.. Accounting was my 3rd option of studies then, when mum talked me into it saying that Interior Design won't get me far in Malaysia unless I make a name for myself.
Well, after a few years, she actually take her words back when the interior designer who help decorate my house in Malaysia is actually earning big bucks from my mum. Haha.. But luckily mum did not let her do my room which I insisted I will decorate myself when I go back Malaysia FOR GOOD. So, there you go, I ended doing Accounting.. :) No regrets on that, doing accounting allows me to know how to count better and I would agree with mum's saying, 'A marketeer cannot be an accounting but an accountant can be a marketeer.' In conclusion, I finally got my blessing of doing Diploma of Professional Interior Design. So, I'm starting next week for 12 weeks, and HOPEFULLY end up successful in it. Mum was telling me, she got a prediction that I am not working whatever I did in my bachelors.. haha.. so yea.. I just might not be an Accountant.. NO ONE KNOWS..
What else I have been doing throughout Nov till now? I invested in a DSLR Nikon D60 that got me pretty broke after that but it's all worth it.
Since it was Vivianne's last few weeks in Sydney, we took opportunity to go places we didn't go before to snap photos and all. For once, I managed to take the sunrise at Millers Point.. which was my wish for birthday this year. So, I am attempting to continue taking good pics..however I know i need to invest on better lenses and tripod and all..and here you go, my best pic of the day.. it's all worth it!!
In case some of you do not know, I am still involved in the Malaysian Students Associations.. I am part of the National Conference & Games 2009 committee. HAHA.. though my age number is rising, I realised I never get tired of all this but I know 2009 is going to be my finale year. I really want to organised the NCG since this is my only chance, having it host in Sydney next year.
What else? I learned bits and pieces on how to play guitar but definitely not easy for me picking it up now. Thanks to Julian as he left it at my place and I just picked up a chord little book and pluck my way through. But, I know my wrist is pretty not used to it. I just love this black guitar..
Well, I guess that's about it for this round, as I get busy cleaning up and preparing for the Christmas party next week.. see ya..

I guess I'm still very much comfortable with my piano which is one of my wishlists that I really hope to buy. I just want a digital stage piano. I'm saving up for it!!!! WISH ME LUCK!!
Shwu Ching just borrowed me her violin to try. I remembered I played once very very long time ago but I know I forgot how to play already. Thanks Shwu Ching for borrowing me. I was bidding for an electric violin before but thank goodness I have not bought one. Anyhow, this is something I hope I can learn then buy.. :)
I guess I have to thanked mum for forcing me to play piano until Grade 8, or else I guess I would regret it terribly. :) My house will turn into a jam studio soon.. haha.. I just bought a Ukelele for fun from Allen Music for $25!!
